Bald Eagles are commonly seen along the Tualatin River particularly in the less populated sections. Bald Eagles often nest in the Jackson Bottom Wetlands and Tualatin River National Wildlife Refuge and surrounding areas. The Jackson Bottom Wetlands Nature Center has, what is reputed, to be the world’s largest Bald Eagle nest on display. It was in a tree that fell over and then moved to the Nature Center.
