12-acre park in a residential neighborhood with primitive river access, extremely limited parking, walking trail, and no amenities. Lake Oswego’s Canal Area also includes Canal Acres and Bryant Woods Natural Areas. The historic Lake Oswego Canal and Canal Headgate are located in the Canal Area.
Together, River Run Park, Canal Acres Natural Area, and Bryant Woods Natural Area comprise 66-acres of seasonal wetlands and upland forest with an abundance of wildlife viewing and over two miles of trails.
400 yard gravel/dirt/grass path from parking area to the dirt riverbank access. The riverbank is slippery when muddy. Check the condition of the riverbank before unloading paddlecraft.
