The Emerald NecklaceTrail is Forest Grove’s vision for a greenway encircling the city. When complete the multi-use trail will pass by Gales Creek, Forest Grove Historic District, Pacific University, Lincoln Park, and Fernhill. The Fernhill wetlands are one of the premier bird watching spots in the Tualatin Valley.
The Council Creek Trail, when developed, will extend the trail system east to Cornelius and Hillsboro. The Forest Grove Loop Trail, when developed, will extend the trail system west.
