The 200-acre Tualatin Heritage Pine Natural Area was acquired by Metro in 2016 and 2018. Its namesake is a large Ponderosa Pine on the site. Once fully developed, it would enable the Westside Trail (also known as the Powerlines Trail) and the Ice Age Tonquin Trail to be connected via a pedestrian bridge similiar to the Ki-a-Kuts Bridge. This development could also include a river access around River Mile 12.7. There is currently no public access at this site.
