Tigard plans to develop a new fully accessible walkway and dock with adaptive hardware and low freeboard design for ease of access at an area downriver of the existing dock. The goal is to improve the site so that paddlecraft enthusiasts with physical impairments can more easily access the river. Funding is being sought and the project could be completed as early as 2027.
